Taking a Train to Sitges!
If you go to Barcelona, or anywhere in Europe for that matter, I highly suggest that you take a train to an outer city around where you are staying. I'm so glad we took the time to go to Sitges, a small beach town with welcoming people and nautical views. It was a short 40 minute ride that only costed 5$ per person and it was so worth it! It was fun to see more than the city and get to know Spain a little bit better, also seeing the sea was immensely refreshing. We got to the town right before sunset and were able to visit the cutest little corner shop owned by a woman from Germany. We got to hear all about her adventures and cuddle her sweet dog while enjoying the weather and some delicious gelato. Afterward, we caught the most gorgeous sunset on the empty beach and just soaked in all in before having a super classy supper (well above my usual jimmy johns sandwich for dinner) at a beachside restaurant which was an unforgettable experience. I put my camera away during this time to truly feel present in the moment but take it from me, it was awesome. All aside, I highly recommend doing a day trip like this if you ever make it down to Barcelona. You'll be so happy you did. ✨🌅
A coastal gem with a seafront promenade and gorgeous views.
