Home means Nevada. Home means unity & strength.

Candlelight Vigil, Oct 3rd 2017

The past few days have been tragic. Living in Nevada, the Las Vegas shooting hit extremely close to home. Words cannot describe the amount of loss and astounding sadness that has been clouding over the nation. In Nevada, we take pride in our battle born state. Home means Nevada, and we are all a family. Last night, my university held a candlelight vigil. There was an incredible outcome, with what had to have been thousands of students and locals joining hand in hand for our brothers and sisters in LV. They ran out of candles to hand out, and lead a beautiful ceremony forever remembering that day. It really, truly, could have been any one of us, but now we must stay Nevada strong. Love wins always. The turnout of this ceremony proves that.

My love, prayers and condolences go out to everyone impacted by this horrifying event.

Lets hold out for hope, healing and protection.

Here are some photos that express student unity at the vigil after the tragic shooting. Love wins.
